Boeing 737-200 Type Rating Training & Certification
All Active Aerospace Training Inc. courses including the
Boeing 737-200 Type Rating program, are fully approved by the federal
government regulatory agency of Canada (in compliance with Transport
Canada regulations). You will be taught by highly qualified professional
instructors who are all “airline captains”.
You’ll begin your 737-200 large aircraft endorsement and
training program with a comprehensive Ground
School Over The Internet, an independent online program. Upon
completion, we will then have you attend in person for the 737-200
Type Rating ground school, which includes full flight simulator
training, a Type Rating check ride and a Transport Canada check
ride. In addition, Active Aerospace has a fully operational
B737-200 aircraft available so you can familiarize yourself
with all of the system’s functions and procedures.
737-200 Entrance Requirements
Your 737-200 Type Rating entrance requirements include a valid
pilot’s license, a multi-instrument rating and a minimum
of 250-hrs total flight time.
World Wide Acceptance of Your 737-200 Type Rating
Unlike American licenses, you only require a letter from Transport
Canada acknowledging that you have met all the requirements in
successfully attaining your 737-200 Type Rating and your Canadian
pilot license may be accepted in other ICAO countries. Many pilots
have transferred their Type Rating to their home country such
as Belgium, Denmark, Australia, Luxembourg, Serbia, Jordan, etc.

from various Airlines plus commissioned agents in Thailand, China
and other Asian countries. We cannot guarantee your resume will
get to the DFO’s (Director of Flight Operations) desk, however
we are committed to helping you find employment as a first officer
or Captain on the large aircraft you have trained for once you
have completed your 737-200 Type Rating certification /licensing.
